I have no idea or could give two shits about the Jets cap space. Sign him, don't sign him, trade for him, don't trade for him, in the end, it won't matter because they are the New York Jets and they won't see they playoffs no matter who they put behind center. Jets would be an interesting choice, but I don't think Alex Smith wants the spotlight and scrutiny that goes with New York. His best option like most are saying is Minnesota or KC. Though he has two years left on his three year deal, and the Niners could easily get a first round pick for Smith I think. If not, a collection of second and third rounders and a player, but they will get something for him.
