lol at the Colt signing Daniel Adongo.

This time last year he was playing for Counties in the second tier of the NPC, the fourth level of Rugby in New Zealand. Has he even played a down of American Football in his life?

According to the Miami Herald, Dolphins LT Jonathan Martin has been "owned" by second-year RE Olivier Vernon "since the opening of camp."

Martin was beaten for three sacks by Vernon in Thursday's practice, and two more sacks by Dion Jordan on Wednesday. Per reporter Armando Salguero, Martin's pass pro is "looking problematic at this point." The Dolphins have known this was a potential issue all along, pursuing Branden Albert in trade talks before the draft. Now, they may be stuck with Martin on Ryan Tannehill's blindside.

          ----
LT is probably the biggest question for Miami right now and it ain't looking good. Will make or break their offense in my mind, may not matter how much better Tannehill has supposedly looked.

Can't wait until the season starts.

More of a chance to see funny commercials like this online.

Three out of five NFL personnel executives polled by NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah's believe Texas A&M redshirt sophomore Johnny Manziel has the skillset to be a successful NFL starting quarterback.

One executive said: "He has a good level of that "it" factor. Also, it's worth noting that nobody in the SEC can tackle the guy." Another compares him to Russell Wilson, while a third adamantly disagreed with a comp to Michael Vick: "He had the luxury of playing behind a great offensive line. I have concerns about his size, arm strength and durability. He's not nearly as talented as Michael Vick." In analyzing Manziel, one gets the sense that an evaluator's opinion tells you more about that person's preferences than the quarterback himself. Manziel is nobody's traditional definition of an NFL franchise quarterback. It'll be interesting to see which team doesn't care.

Not to sound like a tool but the bold is what I included in my personal opinion of Manziel.

It's preseason and they're already establishing that Miami's about to have another go-round of bad QB play.

Best part of the game was Devonte Holloman returning a tipped pass back for a touchdown.

Still, it's some football-esque showing for Fútbol Americano.

                        From rotoworld...

Jets RB Joe McKnight was arrested in New Jersey last week for outstanding warrants after police pulled him over for speeding and changing lanes without signaling.
McKnight was arrested on July 30, on a Jets day off from camp. Police found he had blown off a $200 ticket for failing to produce an insurance card, and another $120 fine for failing to observe a traffic signal. Apparently, McKnight obeys traffic law about as well as he plays running back. He suffered a concussion at Friday's practice, and has not participated in training camp since.

How can you derive any opinion about the Fins offense from 5 plays from the starters minus Mike Wallace?

He looked pretty good in the first preseason game. I like his swagger.
