      Trading him is fine.....at least get something for him, but he was only worth a 6th round pick? I was sort of hoping something would have been figured out, because there isn't anyone on the roster that can make the plays he makes in the absolute biggest moments that he does. Flacco is going to miss him...as am I. I have to believe that this is part of a bigger plan. I am not sure Doss is ready.

                                          Boldin is due $6M this season and the Niners had less than $4M in cap room .. sooo basically this probably officially eliminates them from going after Revis. Guessing Boldin, or someone else, will restructure too.

                                                          You guys realize that Baltimore gave up a 5th 3 years ago to Arizona for him.

                                                          So a 6th now sounds about right as far as value is concerned.

                                                          Don't get me wrong I love me some Boldin and his vice grip hands. He turned it on in the playoffs and we can give him credit for our superbowl. But Boldin has slumped and been over shadowed by Torrey. Dude had 3 TD's last season and 800 yards. Is that worth 6 million this upcoming season?

                                                          Boldin didn't take the pay cut of 2M. So he gets dealt, we free up 6 mil; In turn Ed Reed and Elerbe remain Ravens.
