He is a 2 down thumper as the experts would say. So take that as it is. He just isn't an every down player.

I don't even think he's a great run stopper from what I've seen in him in Oakland.. How much of that is the scheme I really can't be sure but he was a ghost on that team and never adequately replaced Morrison.

Maybe Baltimore can coach him up but they lost a lot of their veteran leadership and you have to wonder how many times one team can strike gold with their defensive staff hirings.

Horrible in pass coverage, takes terrible angles and can't shed blocks. Also told them Mike Huff can't tackle to save his life. They should be very worried on the upcoming season. Each guy's reply to caller?

Steve Davis. "Well, look at the team he's coming from. They've been awful. My guess is once they have the change of scenery and get around the Ravens coaches, they'll play much better because of the coaches. Baltimore has the best coaches in the league and will make a difference."
Ed Norris. "I'll admit you [the Raider fan] have watched these guys more than me, however, I doubt Ozzie hasn't watched every bit of film on these two prior to signing them. I'm pretty sure he knows more than you who have watched their career so far. I think you're just a disappointed fan that they didn't work out for your team and are now in Baltimore."
Just because you listen to a radio station it doesn't make you an expert analysis lol. He was on a team going nowhere fast, in bad personnel. He took his paycheck and ran to a competitive team.

            "lol" JBregz gonna JBregz.

I didn't analyze anything, I reiterated what "paid professionals" in Baltimore, who's income is from covering the Ravens year round, said to a Raiders fan that mimics what many have said here. Go read a dictionary Josh Bregar, not only will you learn what the word means, but you'll know how to use it correctly, it's "analyst".

Typical homer, player gets signed to his team that he's never seen play in the NFL, first thing he does is reference his college career.

Here's a tip to homers, if the only thing you can do is reference a player's collegiate career, he's probably not a good NFL player.

You googled for my real name and went grammar police on me, I'm impressed :puft:

You used a quote off a radio station to try and prove a point as if the Ravens are any more biased than any other professional sports team in the world. Every team is biased, what's your fucking point? lol You'll find thousands of biased Packers fans and hundreds of Dolphins fans all over, who cares.

I said hundreds because who'd want to be a shitty Dolphins fan anyways.

BREAKING: Rolando McClain Arrested Again In Decatur

DECATUR, Ala.(WHNT)-Baltimore Ravens linebacker Rolando McClain was arrested again Sunday evening in his hometown of Decatur.

Decatur police confirmed that the former Alabama Crimson Tide All-American has been charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after an incident at Pines Park.

Eyewitnesses at the scene told WHNT News 19 that police officers had ordered McClain and several other people to leave the park after a large crowd had gathered there. McClain allegedly refused to do so, and began cursing at the officers. Authorities said McClain was eventually handcuffed and taken to the city jail before bonding out a short time later.

McClain was also arrested in Decatur in January when he was pulled over for a window tint violation. Police said McClain gave the traffic officers a false name in that incident. The former Alabama linebacker was also arrested by Decatur police in 2011 on assault and menacing charges. He was later convicted.

The Oakland Raiders released McClain after last season. He was signed by the Super Bowl champion Ravens earlier this year.
Some people never learn. What a joke this guy is.

[bmore] This just shows how passionate he is for his life. He reminds me of a young Ray Lewis, and will be able to transform that passion into solid skills with our coaching. [/bmore]

I apologize for my stupidity. I thought given new life, McClain would change his ways. But alas I'm wrong and he will remain the moronic player he is on and off the field. So much for all his potential.

I hope we release him. Hoping to draft a ILB.

It happens to the best of us. The Patriots have taken in quite a few headcases where I thought they'd be given "new life" and even with the leadership and tradition they have there, can't turn them into better people.
