Jets acquired RB Chris Ivory from the Saints in exchange for a fourth-round draft pick.
Ivory, 25, has rushed 256 times for 1,307 yards (5.1 YPC) and eight touchdowns in his four-year NFL career while being criminally underutilized in the Saints' pass-happy offense. A ferociously physical runner with eye-popping lower-body explosion, Ivory should have no trouble beating out Mike Goodson for the Jets' starting job as rookie GM John Idzik's new Marshawn Lynch. (Idzik came from Seattle's front office.) Goodson now projects as the Jets' third-down back. Ivory will be a high-upside fantasy pick this season. He'll warrant consideration beginning in the third round of drafts.
