They were 8-5 including the playoffs under Tebow.

And to TBU the Steelers had the #1 ranked defense going into the playoffs.

I get the point of it all though. Tebow is just too unreliable and it's hard to expect a Superbowl out of him when he's completing 40 something % of his passes.

Yet once again you forget the last 3 games of that season, and that Steelers defense was pretty banged up.

I'm not saying he played well the final 3 games. I simply stated his overall record as QB. 7-4 during the regular season while Orton started the year 1-4 while Tebow went 1-1 in the playoffs. Looking at it straight up 8-5 doesn't look too bad.

And the only player that Steelers defense was missing was Ryan Clark.

If he didn't have this media circus surrounding him I'm sure some team would take him up as project/backup QB without hesitation imo.

Casey Hampton and Brett Keisel both were injured early in that game.

I knew this would happen, but let's not act like Tebow had this amazing game against the Steelers. Demaryius Thomas deserves pretty much all of the credit. 4 catches, 2 TDs, and 204 yards (most of which came after the catch).

1 step forward, and 2 steps back if you ever have to play him again.

I remember when Glen made that post with spoilers and a music video, commemorating on Tim Tebows first TD in the NFL. It hardly got any recognition then, but boy has Tebow has come a long way here at VSN.

Tebow made some nice throws against the Steelers. It's funny how you are gonna discredit his performance and give it all to Demaryius doing it all by himself.

He made a couple nice throws, I never said he didn't. Is it really that funny? Thomas shredded the Steelers. It wasn't like the 4 catches were all downfield. He spent the entire game embarassing the Steelers secondary after the catch. Yet his name NEVER gets mentioned, because we still have to hear about 10 for 21 Tebow. And I'm the one giving all the credit to a guy.

I'm still bitter about him going 3 for 40 or some crazy bad number and then hitting decker at the end of the game on a perfectly placed pass to beat the chiefs.. fuck that guy..

I would say Bradford etc putting up comparable numbers when being forced to throw the ball a lot or as a main part of the offense >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Tebow putting up pedestrian numbers when all he is asked to do is throw to keep a team off balance(20 times a game) and completes passes as a less than 50% clip. Hell even Ponder was throwing around 30 times a game.

                      Thanks for not addressing this.
