So happy to see to see another year of proving the recency/primacy fallacy totally exists, you guys.
It's that time of the year again... Who are your top 10 QBs for 2013?

Their stats are remarkably similar, I mean... pretty damn close. Russell is like 2% better in completion percentage, 2 points better in QB Rating. Kaep is a yard better in YPA and YPR. Both improved in the playoffs even. To me, it comes down to the fact that Russell did it for a full season, while Kaep didn't.
Kidding aside, they're obviously both good and this early on it's unfair to say that one is claerly better than the other. We're splitting hairs at this point, and both teams should be happy with their QBs. I do think Kaep is the superior athlete and can do more with a full season plus an offseason of preparation. The fact that Kaep saw so much success while the team was basically developing its offense on the fly tells me that the potential for an even better season is there.
Wilson does have better wide receivers at this point (especially since SF is without Crabtree), but the 49ers probably have more versatility in what they can get done with the different pieces. Frank Gore and Marshawn Lynch are probably a PUSH right now, but then when you add in that the 49ers have those other guys like LaMichael James, Kendall Hunter, Vernon Davis, Manningham, etc. you can imagine that there's a ton of ways you can get attacked. Percy Harvin is probably the most versatile non-QB on either team, but he is just one (very talented) guy.[REDACTED]Comment

Is Newton really a notable miss? I mean, yeah he will be #1 on OOBL's list, but still. The guy sucks.Comment

1. Aaron Rodgers
2. Peyton Manning
3. Tom Brady
4. Drew Brees
5. Eli Manning
6. Ben Roethlisberger
7. Joe Flacco
8. Matt Ryan
9. Andrew Luck
10. ?
You could reasonably put 8 players at #10 and I wouldn't argue to much...so, whatever.Comment

Seriously, I can't take Big Ben right now over any of the young guys .. I think Flacco is only going to get better despite what his naysayers say. And all trolling aside with Matt Ryan I think he's a slam dunk Top 10 QB.
It's not Steeler hate.. it's just hard to fit him in the Top 10 right now.

Not by a long shot. Luck is good but what more does RG3 have to do to be a better QB than Luck? Complete 75% of his passes with 30 tds and no int's?
fuck outta here.
Why? Because he had a bunch of comeback games in 2011 and won 2 superbowls?
Why is Eli better than Kaep?
And don't say because he's got some bullshit clutch gene. Why is Eli actually "better" than Kaep??Comment
