NFL edition, I'll do mine for the Redskins.
.) What's the status of RGIII? The Redskins have not had a quarterback with this much talent and potential in some time. He was ridiculously efficient last season, and was a threat as both a passer and runner. With the knee injury, the Redskins should scale him back some on the ground. While Kirk Cousins was a great story, and has a bright future in the NFL, the Redskins will be in trouble if they want to improve on last season without RGIII being 100%, or even able to start.
.) How is the health of Pierre Garcon? Right behind RGIII, Garcon also needs to be healthy. When he played, the Redskins were 9-1, but he dealt with a plantar injury for most of the year. He did not have surgery to fix that issue this off-season, which could be a huge issue regardless of who is at quarterback. The talent level really drops off behind Garcon, and he needs to be healthy and have a big season.
.) Who steps up in the secondary? The secondary was shaky to be nice last season. DeAngelo Hall was brought back, but I am not a fan. Brandon Meriweather was the best safety, but only played in about half a game. Even with an above average front seven, which will make huge gains with Adam Carriker and Brian Orakpo returning, the secondary has to step up. With Reed Doughty currently listed as a starter and DeAngelo Hall further up the depth chart than nickel corner, the Redskins have a way to go.
.) How will the special teams be? New coach, no Lorenzo Alexander and new returners need to be decided, as Brandon Banks is gone after a subpar season. Kai Forbath could be the kicker the Redskins have searched for for over a decade, or he could be a flash in the pan and put the Redskins in search of yet another kicker.
.) Will the offensive line hold up? In 2011, the Redskins started a simiar line to 2012, and had great results until injuries hit. Last year, the line avoided many injuries, Trent Williams stepped up his game and Kory Lichensteiger did as well. The Redskins were strapped to the cap, and had limited picks and did not really address the offensive line like many wanted. As with most zone-blocking units, they are much better as a whole than individually, but they have to stay healthy again with depth a concern.
