Quick NFL thoughts from casual fan

It keeps guys like Josh McDaniels getting jobs. Chip Kelly was hired because he combined the Arkansas Wildcat with the high tempo offense that pro teams already used and it had success. It won't last in it's current form because NFL QBs that can actually run the read option part of it can't take the hits from giant fast defensive players throughout a full season.

Chip Kelly was running his exact same offense we saw at Oregon when he coached New Hampshire...long before the Razorback came around.

It was 33-7 by the end of the third quarter...his scheme may be simple but I think the change of pace had a lot more to do with them being stopped in that game vs. some adjustment the Redskins made.

I am curious to see how the NFL adjusts after getting a couple weeks of film. Plus, Vick will not last 16 games in this offense. I'm also curious to see how Chip adjusts to Nick Foles at QB...

Chip will use foles basically the same. Foles is about as athletic as Darron Thomas was at Oregon and we still ran the blur offense.

QB mobility is a huge misnomer... If Kelly thought he needed a mobile QB to run the offense he wouldn't have drafted a statue like Matt Barkley.
