Other than being a Conservative knob, why does my comment deserve a groan W2BTD? Be honest ... coming out (other than actually becoming an elite QB) would be the greatest move for Josh Freeman. Hell ... people are lobbying to get Jason Collins a job next year, despite the fact that he averages 1 point a game and wouldn't get a minimum salary most teams wouldn't pay a straight dude. Honestly ... get over your Conservative ways ... and ask yourself - how much is the first OUT NFL starting quarterback worth today.
Wheels are falling off in Tampa rather fast...

this is kind of weak imo. being late to a kids camp and the media is not the end of the world. the bucs lost a tough game last week simple as that.
and no offense leaf, but Tailback U is right. When Gruden got canned you went on a week long rant about this that and the other thing and never once mentioned it had anything to do with the Glazers not liking his 9-7 record. I remember that vividly because i totally disagreed with your opinion on grudenComment

No offense, Leaf, but you have acted like you've had "insider" info about the Bucs organization since MaddenMania and I don't think you've ever actually called anything.
You always throw out a bunch of shit and maybe some of it sticks once in a while but your sources are pretty weak, IMO.
Now as far as the Bucs go and the "wheels falling off.." The organization has been shitty for years. Josh Freeman sucks. The team, overall, isn't all that bad. But you need a decent QB in this league to win close football games and Josh Freeman isn't the answer.
If they win games, it doesn't matter what the players think of Schiano. Look at Belichick and Tom Coughlin and a bunch of other hard nosed asshole coaches. If you win it doesn't matter. The Bucs have needed a QB for years. Until then, the wheels will never be even be on tight enough to fall off.
Additionally, I'm not saying any of this is true, what I am saying is that I have never of such an attack against a player that included these types of allegations and rumors. It really is the craziest shit I've heard. People go from not liking Josh one day to now a number of reported leaks about teammates questioning his commitment, drug use, questions about his off-field behavior/sexuality effecting his on-field play, rift with coaches, Schiano claiming that Josh is late "for a lot of things," Josh disputing that by saying he's not, etc. Just a lot of shit and stuff I have never seen before.Last edited by RyanLeaf16; 09-13-2013, 06:30 AM.Maddon & Friedman: Pissing off the AL East since 2008

Josh Freeman coming out could be the greatest move of his career. He goes from being a below average QB to everyone's (ok, not everyone) hero and someone to cheer for in a day. He goes from being an obscure, average NFL QB to the first NFL starting QB who comes out. As for the drug use from years ago, who cares. If he's still using, yes, that's a concern. If he's not, but gay and hiding ... come out.
Nobody is going to give him a starting job if/when he fizzles out in Tampa because he may be gay. Either he'll be a back-up or he can move on to do something else in the media or whatever the fuck.
Of course, with the way some awful QBs get opportunities to start year after year, perhaps there is some team willing to give him a 2nd shot.

You're kidding right? I went on and on about how the Glazers weren't happy with 9-7 and the up-and-down seasons. They wanted championships and told Gruden who he was going to cut and who was going to be on the squad next year. Gruden said "No" and they went right to Bruce Allen after. Told him to fire Jon Gruden, Allen said "No," so they fired Allen and then fired Gruden.Comment

Josh Freeman might not be the only Tampa Bay Buccaneers player irritated with Greg Schiano. Darrelle Revis reportedly is unhappy with the coach just two games into his Bucs career.
more shit on the wall for the Bucs...what a dysfunctional bunch but they get no national play because it's all about the shit show in Jet land!
Why on god's earth is Revis playing so much man coverage tho?Originally posted by Nick MangoldWes Welker is a great player. He's really taken advantage of watching film. If we don't keep a Spy on him, he could really open the Gate.Comment

This revelation isn't just problematic for the union, which is launching an investigation on the matter; it's an issue for the league. The NFL is trying to create an environment where personnel feel comfortable talking about private issues to league reps. The Freeman revelation is a huge setback for that effort.
The latest twist in the Josh Freeman saga is not just bad for the quarterback and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
It's bad for the entire NFL.
Freeman is involved in the NFL's drug program, ESPN reported Monday night. That set off all kinds of speculation until Freeman released a statement later that evening revealing he has ADHD and entered the program voluntarily after mistakenly taking Ritalin instead of AdderallComment
