    For the Redskins:

    Pros:

-Pierre Garcon continues to perform well as the #1 receiver, constantly being targeted when a catch needs to be made. Very worth the money we spent last year.

-I'll give BumAngelo Hall some credit. He did get a pick-six, and he "held" Calvin Johnson to seven catches for 116 yards. The rest of the secondary was blown up, but at least Hall did his job and forced other players to beat them.

-Ryan Kerrigan continues to be the star of the defense. If we didn't have him, this defense would be much worse, not that it would take much statistically.

-We also cut down on penalties (six for 45 yards) and beat the Lions in Time of Possession. Still lost, but those are two small victories to take from this game.

    Cons

-RGIII's passed looks a little more crisp, but he fumbled the ball three times and threw an interception. One thing is for sure, we did not see that last year. He's been careless with the football, but that's probably due to him being more concerned about the knee than anything else. Still, we can't have the turnovers hanging over us and losing yards because of it.

-The rest of the secondary got blown up by receivers not named Calvin Johnson. Amerson did a solid job, but we just don't have the depth to compete with the weapons that teams can bring.

-Aldrick Robinson, you've got to make that catch. It was put in a spot where you had the play on it, but ended up dropping it. He's got the speed to get separation on those routes, but the catch has to be made. We might be looking at a different game if that happens.

if you named Hall a pro, thats one of the main reasons the Redskins defense sucks.

        Pros:

-Snelling and Quiz definitely stepped up with the absence of Steven Jackson
-Julio came through and made some nice plays when needed
-DBs played well for the most part, they kept Mike Wallace quiet today and Hartline got a TD off of a blown assignment. The Nickels were getting worked though
-Defense produced 5 sacks today, surprising.

        Cons:

-Matt Bryant is usually money, not sure what happened with that miss. Announcer jinx I suppose
-Playcalling in the redzone has been shit this year, this game made it 10x clear. Dirk needs to switch some things up in that department
-Thomas Decoud is soft as cotton and him blowing coverage late in the game was inexcusable
-Still waiting on sending it deep to Julio. There was a lot of Julio vs Grimes match ups and didn't test him not once.
-Roddy White just needs to rest, he is doing nothing out clear. He clearly isn't close to be healthy.
-And to save the best for last..

        Disappointing loss today, pathetic.

Man, they look bad. I told my coworkers this week, Steelers fans lamenting how bad they were, that perhaps they shouldn't jump to conclusions yet because I think the bigger surprise is for the Giants and their fans.

              Pros:
              We got the win
Hill and Holmes had 100+ receiving each
              Powell had 150 yards rushing
8 sacks is amazing by the defense
              Held Spiller to 10 yards

              Cons:
Lack of discipline, gave the refs too many opportunities to throw the flag
Jackson had a huge run on us due to bad tackling
              Geno threw 2 interceptions

The Packers scored 30 (23 offensive) points on the road against a tough Bengals defense.

                Cons
The Packers gave up 34 (27 offensive) points to a mediocre Bengals offense.

That is not a "pro". The Packers offense played awful and it was embarrassing to only put up 23 offensive points.

Lack of depth in the secondary is killer- what depth we do have is ridiculously young. When you hold CJ to what we did, you should win that game. The rest of the offense killed us.

                      Pros: Week 3 is over

                      Cons: Week 4 is coming

lost a tough one yesterday. horrible dropped pass. thats the kind of play that can turn teams around.
dont wanna hear that RGIII fumbled in that scramble.
i say now and will say again.......its NOT all on RGIII. guys need to step up and make plays.
3rd & 14, inside your own 15, up 6, 3:20min left to go = call a PA Pass and Cancel. *its Legit, so no needless complaining

Thats absolutely pathetic that your congratulating Hall to "holding" Calvin to 115 yards and a TD. So unless Calvin gets 200 yards, we should lose? Hall is complete garbage and played like sit in the game. He was beat so bad on the pick 6 that when Stafford overthrew Calvin, Hall was fortunate enough to be standing there.

                            Pros:
                            - Jake Locker. Maybe his best game as a pro. Probably goes for 350 yards passing if it weren't for some bad drops. Granted, the Chargers' secondary is bad, but Locker has shown a lot of improvement and excels when the playbook is opened up for him. 94 yards with no timeouts and two minutes left? No problem.
                            - Nate Washington. There was talks of Nate getting traded in the off-season after the Titans moved up to select Justin Hunter, but thank God that didn't come to fruition. He's easily the most consistent WR the Titans have had in a long time, and I couldn't imagine where this corps would be without him.
                            - Kendall Wright. Coming off a concussion suffered last week, Wright looked great in the open field and showed why he should get more touches.
                            - Running game. The team misses Shonn Greene as the power back (Battle's serviceable, but not a huge threat), but they still averaged over four yards a carry on the afternoon. CJ's going to break a long one very soon.
                            - Pass defense. Rivers got his completions, but holding a powerful San Diego offense to just 17 points is impressive.

                            Cons:
                            - Kenny Britt. After venting out his frustrations on social media, he dropped two passes and picked up two awful penalties before being benched on the final drive of the game. His time in Tennessee is over, and Justin Hunter should be getting most, if not all of his reps from this time forward.
                            - Munchak and the red flag. Challenged two plays that were pretty obvious, and missed on both. He's never been good in this regard.
                            - Penalties. One in the second half was a huge improvement from 10 in the first half.
                            - Run defense. After two solid performances, they struggled against the Mathews/Brown/Woodhead trio.
                            - Rob Bironas. Missed a 43-yard FG pretty badly in the first half. He hasn't been his self since the start of last season.

Good win in the face of adversity, and it's great for Locker to collect his first real "clutch" drive. Been 20 years since we beat San Diego, so it's nice to break that streak. There's a realistic shot to start the season at 4-1 now.

I've been watching him since he was a freshman in HS, and he also was a decent basketball player. I remember one time he caught a rebound and dunked it, only he did it with two hands and his eyes were about at rim height. It was nasty. After I saw that I knew athletically he could play in the NFL. He is a local kid, so I am hopeful that he does well.
