    Adam Jones arrested.....again

CINCINNATI -- Bengals cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones was arrested Monday morning, according to a news report from Cincinnati television station WCPO.

Citing the Ohio State Patrol, the station said Jones was cited for disorderly conduct after a 2013 Dodge Durango he was traveling in was pulled over on State Route 125 in Cincinnati around 2:30 a.m. The station said Jones was cited after the driver of the car, 33-year-old Tishana F. Holmes, was stopped for driving 60 mph in a 45 mph zone. Holmes was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence and refused a field sobriety test, according to the OSP report.

At a later point in the stop, Jones was arrested for the disorderly charge. Both charges are misdemeanors. According to WCPO, the two were released on their own recognizance and are scheduled to appear in court Friday.

The Bengals are aware of the incident but have no plans to address it publicly at this time.

"As with most situations of this nature, it would be inappropriate for the team to comment until the matter is resolved through normal legal channels," a team spokesman said.

Earlier Monday afternoon, before news of Jones' arrest hit, Bengals coach Marvin Lewis and defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer were singing the seven-year veteran's praises. On Sunday, Jones bounced back from an abdominal injury to play in Cincinnati's 34-30 win over Green Bay. He had four tackles in the game.

"He was sore last week with the abdomen, but he knew it was a big football game, a big opportunity for him and our football team, and he had to play big," Lewis said. "He did a good job."

Zimmer thought the performance was among Jones' best since coming to Cincinnati four years ago.

"That may be his best game he's played since he's been here," Zimmer said. "He's played some good games, but that may have been his best one."

Jones, who turns 30 next Monday, may have been celebrating his birthday earlier in the night. At some point Sunday night, he posted a photo from a party to his Instagram and Twitter accounts.

This isn't the first time Jones has been in trouble with the law. He was accused in June of hitting a woman at a bar in downtown Cincinnati. He pleaded not guilty to the charge and will be back in court on the charge Oct. 7.

Newman , Roy Williams , PacMan Jones

Have any of them been anywhere near probowl level on the Bengals ? Zimmer is addicted to old cowboys , but I never pay attention to see if they still play well.
Best reason to have a license.
