all the cry me a river for peterson and he didnt even know this kid until Thursday....no wonder he didnt seem to care about it and wanted to play. The kid is just another one of the millions of people who are raped, tortured, abused, and tossed away like yesterdays garbage....but we all of a sudden give a fuck cause its petersons kid....Adrian Peterson only recently learned he was the father of a 2-year-old boy in South Dakota ... and met him for the first time Thursday ... while the boy was on life support, TMZ has learned.
Multiple sources connected to the situation tell us ... roughly 2-3 months ago, the mother of the child had a paternity test done with an ex she suspected to be the father, in an effort to collect child support from him.
But the test turned up negative, so the woman went to Adrian ... with whom she had a sexual encounter several years ago.
We're told ... when Adrian was first informed about the matter, he didn't question the possibility he was the dad -- but rather asked how he could help the situation.
Sources tell us ... a few weeks ago, A.P. started to plan a trip to South Dakota to meet the child for the first time and he was supposed to fly out later this month.
But when he heard the news about the attack on the 2-year-old, Peterson dropped everything and jetted over to Sioux Falls as soon as he could.
We're told Adrian met the child for the first time while the boy was on life support.
Multiple sources tell us ... Adrian has been very involved since the tragedy and was the one pushing the have the child's organs donated to other people in need of a transplant.
As for the suspect, Joey Patterson, we're told Adrian has never met the guy.
We reached out to Adrian and the mother of the child for comment -- so far, no word back from either side.

I don't think it is hypocrisy. Anytime a child is hurt or abused and it makes the news, people tend to rally. If anything is ignored, it is because we don't know about all of the other cases. They don't all make the news and we aren't seers that can drive by a home and know if a child is being abused.
I don't think it has anything to do with it being Peterson's kid. It has to do with the fact that we are all in shock over how someone could hurt a child in that manner. Any child. Not just Peterson's.Maddon & Friedman: Pissing off the AL East since 2008

If you look at the guys FB page, you would think he was father of they year. Every photo is him and his son by blood. I'm not expecting pictures of him hitting a kid but he sure did try to hide his "true" self....maybe to the females.

nobody gives a shit about this kid...they only say they care because its petersons kid. so really, people just care about peterson. people die everyday and in horrible fashion....how come we arent grieving for them?
yeah he cared....so much so that he only met the kid for the 1st time when he was on life support thursday. He never met the boy and only found out about him 2 months ago. Just because he found out he has a child doesnt mean he automatically has a bond and cares. I am sure he feels bad, but how would you expect the man to feel bad about a person he knows nothing about? Its not like it makes him a bad person because he doesnt care about a kid he didnt know exsisted until 2 months ago.
But he has to be PC about it so all you fake fuckers can go on pretending you give a shit....that way you dont feel guilty because you really dont give a shit.Comment

I actually dont give a hoot about Peterson but anytime a 2 yr old is beaten to death because some whore is being careless or some guy is being scum it bothers me.
BTW How does AP even know this is his kid ? Did they do a follow up paternity test on him ?
Also the murderer was a Broncos fan.-_-Best reason to have a license.

You're a fool. What makes you think he didn't care about it and wanted to play? He definitely said that football helps relieves stress (which it absolutely does). I guess Torrey Smith didn't care about the death of his brother either and decided to play.
