i agree. i dont think AD could have handled things much better. he just found out about the kid 2 months ago and in the midst of the NFL season hasnt exactly had time to fly to ND to meet this kid and be a father to him. I am sure he feels like shit, but how much of a bond does anyone really have with someone they didnt even know existed 2 months ago.

I do agree with you about the bond thing. The fact is he doesn't know him, so that makes playing on Sunday a bit easier. Given the circumstances I thought it was strange that he only missed a day of practice.
