No doubt St. Louis is an absolute baseball city, hell it's possible the Blues are more popular than the Rams, but America's national pastime is football, not baseball. You don't have every network spending 24 hours on baseball, they're all talking about football. Most sports fans know who the left guard is for Tennessee, Most sports fans have no clue who the Cincinnati Reds' centre fielder is. Most know who New Orleans' defensive co-ordinator is, Most couldn't name half of MLB's managers.
Hell, most sports fans are legitimately concerned about the effect of concussions on NFL players, but are only pissed at MLB players for cheating because they simply won't admit it.

I'm willing to wager more people on this site, and more sports fans overall, could tell you who the Reds CENTER fielder is.

It's ok to disagree without being disagreeable. IMO, football is America's national pastime, not baseball.
Football, all season, is simply more compelling than baseball. I get that baseball during the World Series is hella compelling, but every week in the NFL is compelling ... and the Super Bowl is greater than the World Series right now.
