    My fantasy woes this season

Well I am having one of those years where you just want to punch a wall with my fantasy team. After the draft I clearly had the best team, with my main guns being AP, Julio Jones, Reggie Wayne, Brandon Marshall and Matt Ryan, plus the Seattle defence.

As you can see, Wayne and Jones are done for the season, AP had his little moment, and Ryan is on a shit team this year.

But my woes run deeper than that. Here is just all the fucked up stats from my league this season with regards to my team.

Of my five losses this season, three of them were the highest points they have had to date in the league, one was the second highest and one was the third. The person I am playing this week has never been over 94pts, yet this week put up 159.75 due to the five New England Patriots in the line up. Yes, that is right, FIVE PATRIOTS! And with them going off for 55pts against the Steelers, I basically was done.

    Through 8 games this season:

    I am averaging 124.64 pts a week
Against me though, people average 118.37 pts a week.
    (League average is below 100)

In the five weeks I've lost, each person managed to score over 125pts.

As of right now, with the HOU/IND game on:

I have scored a league high 1063.25 pts.
I have faced a league high 1106.75 pts
The next closest person (who is currently 5-3) has allowed 1006.25pts. I'm 100pts more than them. The next closest people are 983pts.

The person who leads our league with a 6-2 record has scored 1019.25 pts. He has faced a league low 771.75, and his opponents averages 88.28 against each week. That is 30 pts less than what I face every week. So basically, it is like I have to play another QB every week.

With the recap thing yahoo has put in now, it tells you some interesting things about what your record would be if you played the other persons schedule, or what your record would be if you played them every single week. I dominate everyone every week, and out of the 8 previous opponents I have had, 6 out of 8 have said I would be 7-1 right now. The other two are 8-0.

So that is my fantasy life right now. Injuries have killed my team, and I'm the guy in the league that just has got destroyed by match ups.

Yet as of right now, because of my almost 1100 points, I am in the final playoff spot currently because of that tiebreaker. I'd pitty being the guy who gets third place and has to play me, knowing they have to average 125 to beat me.
All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.

No Peyton Manning, your team is not the best.

In our league, some idiot traded Manning and Steve Smith for Kaepernick, Sproles and Andre Johnson.

Someone also traded Megatron away from CJ Spiller three weeks ago.

I had mentioned in another thread that after week 7 I was 5-2 and in first place.

I had 2nd in points scored and had the least against me.

Then I ran into Calvin Johnson week 8 and lost by 1.02, week 9 it was Andre Johnson, week 10 my WR's shit the bed with only 21.7 TOTAL between all 3 (I didn't even break 100 pts that week) yet still only lost by 9. This week I once again failed to meet my projections yet had a 15 pt lead going into the Monday night game. Of course my opp had Aaron Dobson and Gostkowski. It was looking great with only 6 seconds left and me leading by .94, and then Brady had to of course pass to Dobson and I end up losing by .76!!

I have underachieved for 7 straight weeks now and have lost 4 in a row. My points scored have dropped to 4th but I'm still in the lead as far as points against, and it's not going to get better as next week i've got to face 1st place and next week it's 3rd place. Of course I'm projected to win both, but we know that shit isn't happening with the way I've underachieved all year!
