Well the original argument was if Alabama could support a pro team. There is no way that a new team with little or no history would outdraw the Crimson Tide. Same goes for Nebraska and Oklahoma.
What it truly stems from at least for Louisiana is there are a lot of people that bandwagoned other NFL teams from back when the Saints were very bad; but the only people who don't like LSU in Louisiana are gay Bama fans and black people who swear LSU racist cuz they got denied entry.
