Justin Tucker is an Elite Kicker

Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh decided to send kicker Justin Tucker out for a 61-yard field goal with a chance to take the lead late against the Detroit Lions. Tucker rewarded his coach for having faith in him...

The stakes were high on Monday Night Football and with an 18-16 win the Ravens were able to kick their way into control of the AFC North.

The game came down to the right foot of Justin Tucker, who continued his unbelievable season. Detroit scored a late touchdown to go up 16-15. The Ravens took over with 2:21 to play and Joe Flacco was able to move the ball into Detroit territory, but barely. Facing a 4th-and-8 from the Detroit 43-yard line, the Ravens had two options. They could attempt to pick up the first down, or they could put the game on Tucker's right foot. John Harbaugh decided for the latter and it proved to be a wise decision. Tucker drilled the 61-yard attempt, just sneaking it inside the right upright.

Tucker accounted for all 18 of Baltimore's points, including on field goals of 49, 53 and 61 yards in the second half.

The Ravens offense meanwhile, is a pitiful shell of it's former self without Matt Birk and Anquan Boldin

Tucker single footedly cost me a shot at $1,000 in my high stakes fantasy championship game next week. Now I have to win next week for $250

That was the best kick I have ever seen. Hands down. Power and accuracy were perfect.

It was a 61 yard FG that went over the cross bar by what looked like at least 2 yards. Not sure what more you want.

Ya what more would you like. 61 with the game on the line and a potential playoff spot too.

The accuracy with how it moved, but just stayed right inside the upright, with enough power for 63 yards.

              Perfection for me.

Even as a Broncos fan I completely agree.

BTW Tucker was nails down the stretch for Baltimore last year and made it possible for them to be able to consistently score despite having an offense based on the big play.

                            He's a stud.
