    Coach firing predictions

Black Monday is nearly upon us, who do you think is going to get fired? I think we'll see quite a few changes this off-season, notably in the NFC East.

    Jason Garrett- Dallas Cowboys
Tom Coughlin- New York Giants (retiring)
    Mike Shanahan- Washington Redskins
    Leslie Frazier- Minnesota Vikings
    Jim Schwartz- Detroit Lions
    Rex Ryan- New York Jets
    Mike Munchak- Tennessee Titans
    Dennis Allen- Oakland Raiders

Coughlin isn't getting fired, I don't think they are going to force him out, but I think Coughlin may think its time to step away. One of my favorite coaches, and it sucks seeing him go out with a season like this.

Garrett may be the only one who is questionable on this list, possibly Schwartz as well. Who knows what Jerruh is going to do with his coaching situation.

I think Garret is gone, but, not on black monday. I think Jerruh takes his time and gauges interest of possible replacements. The situation in Dallas is so murky right now though. You could really make an argument either way regarding his fate.

Dennis Allen isn't gonna get fired

Raiders have the lowest payroll in the league because they have about 60 million in dead money, cutting those horrible contracts which needed to be done, so this season and last were expected to be rough for those reasons alone. Next season we'll have about 60 million in cap space and I don't expect to resign McFadden.

I think Allen and Ryan will be saved. The Jets firing Rex would be a massive step backwards for the organization. The fact he got more than 4 wins with that team is shocking. The players love him and want to play for him, which is great for trying to attract more talent to the team.

I hope the Redskins keep Shannanhan. I just wanna hear the universal groan from the Redskins community where i live. Better yet, keep Haslett. Hehehe.

That's a hard one for me to predict, because no one truly knows what goes on at Redskins Park. Just as many people say Snyder forces decisions, and then ESPN runs an article where both a current GM and current coach rate the Redskins job high because Snyder has stayed out of things recently. You are right on Haslett, he is the one that's pissed me off the most this year.

Not a head coach, but I could see Dom Capers being in trouble.

Frazier is an interesting one. The Vikings have really turned it around in the latter half of the season when they might as well have clocked out, and I think that's evidence that the locker room has a lot of love and respect for him. But for the most part he seems out of his depth at this level. He's probably past his sell-by date.

he's at his best when he is just in charge of the defense. having control of the whole team is just above him imo. i think he's gone, but it's hard to say. they beat the lions and he MIGHT just have earned himself one more year. but honestly it'd be stupid to keep him for next year as we'll come in with a defense that will probably lose allen and williams, the secondary won't be any better and cassel will come into the season as the starting qb with a rookie standing on the sideline.

why keep a coach that you were this close firing him the year before, and honestly this is a team that might be a 6 win at best team next year. fire the whole lot, hire a new coach and let them be in on the ground floor for the rebuild.

Shanahan is gone, he knows RGIII is a dog, but the franchise gave up too much for him and has to side with the player.

If somebody hires BOB, there are probably two or three NFL coaches who would leave for the Penn St job.

                          I think Rex survives.

Frazier stinks, he needs to go. Same for Schwartz, who will probably be the Rams DC next season.

Kyle Orton is playing for Garrett's job Sunday.

Jerruh has already shown that he is with Garrett until the bitter end. Now that Romo is out for the remainder of the year, he will rationalize that with Romo playing they would have won the division and the Super Bowl so Garrett avoids the axe.

The more we keep hearing about it, the more it seems Snyder doesn't want to pay $7 million for Shanahan to leave plus $6 million for the rest of the staff. I don't know why, because he did it with Schottenheimer for Spurrier, then did it to Spurrier for Gibbs. It seems that both Kyle and Haslett may be out of Shanahan stays though. Could be interesting to watch there, and I think Gregg Williams, despite being passed over for Jim Zorn, could be in play as a DC if Shanahan sticks around.

Also don't think Orton is playing for Garrett's job now. With Romo on the IR, I think he might get a reprieve even if a loss occurs.
