Your typical lackluster Richt closing. If NSD was in August he would kill it. But when bagmen start getting involved late in the process, 'ol Richt doesn't pony up enough.

Dalvin Cook 5 star HB will make his decision on Jan 2nd.
He has already signed the "financial agreement" to Florida, Florida State, and Miami.

BUT then current Seminoles HB, Devonta Freeman posted this on his Instagram...

          From
          Tomahawknation:
Devonta Freeman, FSU's star running back from Miami Central, put up this instagram concerning 5-star running back Dalvin Cook, a fellow Miami Central graduate and a current Florida commitment. I've expected Cook to flip to Florida State since about Halloween, and have said as much. But as of right now, this is not official, and Cook has not made any public statement indicating such a flip. Cook is scheduled to make his final decision announcement at the Under Armour Game on January 2, and enroll in his school of choice shortly thereafter. Other recruits said on social media that they have heard the same, while Florida recruit Quincy Wilson laughed at the post.

LSU could land five five-stars Thursday

            Five-star running back Leonard Fournette
            Five-star cornerback Tony Brown
Five-stars Gerald Willis (defensive line) and Speedy Noil (receiver)
The final five-star who could be headed to Baton Rouge is safety Jamal Adams

Ohio State is about to add 4* DB's Marshon Lattimore and Erick Smith (Both from Glenville) to what is already a great recruiting class.

Probably will wind up ranked #3 behind Alabama and LSU's class when the dust clears. I'm just happy for next year when we are finally back to 85 scholarships. Only being down 3 may not seem like a big deal, but in today's CFB world it's a huge one.

Landing all 5 is more likely than landing 4/5. Still in play for Adoree Jackson and Lorenzo Carter as well.

Adoree wants a top level track team also, Olympic hopeful in the long jump.

I think Lorenzo stays between Florida/Georgia line.

Malachi Dupre, Ermon Lane, Bo Scarbrough, & Marlon Humphrey are the kids that have my attention.

Malachi is all LSU from what I have read. Scarbrough sounds like he is at least considering Ole Miss.

                        From CBS Sports:

Should LSU get commits from Fournette, Brown, Willis, Noil and Adams, the Tigers would have a team rankings score of 302.86 (according to the LSU Class Calculator), which means they would have the No. 1 class as things stand today.

Hearing that Adams, Willis and Speedy have already decided. Fournette has been long expected to stay home. So basically the only question mark standing in the way of 5/5 is Tony Brown. His sister is already enrolled at LSU and running track, and their mother has expressed her wish for them to attend the same school, so I'm feeling pretty confident.

Florida State added a four-star defensive end recruit Wednesday

Featherston is out of Greensboro (N.C.) Page High School. He is an extremely lanky 6'7 and 220 pounds. Featherston also held offers from Florida and Clemson, among others. He is widely considered one of the 10 best defensive ends in the class.
Also of note is that Featherston is an early-enrollee, the sixth anticipated by Florida State, which will importantly allow FSU to take as many as 31 recruits in the class.
Featherston is not a player who is expected to contribute early. He must first recover from a knee injury that kept him out of the Under Armour All-America Game, and then gain at least 30 pounds.
