Lions fire Jim Schwartz

After an extremely disappointing season that saw the Lions collapse down the stretch and miss the playoffs, the Lions have fired Jim Schwartz according to multiple reports.

Schwartz and the Lions lost six of their last seven games despite holding a fourth-quarter lead in every single one of those games. At 6-3 the Lions were in the catbird's seat to lock down the NFC North, especially with Aaron Rodgers and Jay Cutler injured.

Writing was on the wall after that collapse. Will be interesting to see who wants to take that job with the state of the locker room as it is. Most regard Suh as one of the dirtiest players in the NFL, Stafford doesn't seem receptive to coaching.
