I didn't watch any games outside of a Ravens one, but that's exactly what happened to the Redskins defense. I think we took Haslett to task too much, when the offense couldn't even get a first down, much less sustain a drive. The defense did a surprisingly well job all year for us. Haslett did have some questionable calls, but with the rumor that Shanahan made his own calls in some situations, we have no way of knowing who made those calls.
Browns top choice for HC is Adam Gase

At the rate the Browns are going, they might end up coaching themselves next season and that's because no one seems to want the head coaching job in Cleveland. Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase would likely turn down the Browns coaching job if the team offered, according to Cleveland.com.
That makes Gase the third person in less than a week who apparently isn't interested in becoming Cleveland's next head coach. Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels and Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles both withdrew their names earlier this month.
CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora reported earlier this month that Gase was the first person the Browns wanted to interview for the job.
Gase hasn't interviewed with the Browns yet because he decided to put off all interviews until the Broncos are eliminated from the playoffs. That elimination could come as early as Sunday if Denver loses to the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game.
According to the report from Cleveland.com, Gase is likely to turn the job down because he wants to spend another season as Peyton Manning's offensive coordinator. Gase has been in Denver since 2009, but this season was his first as offensive coordinator.
Cleveland owner Jimmy Haslam wrote a letter to Browns fans on Jan. 15 saying that the team was "prepared to wait as long as necessary" to hire a coach and that the Browns "have purposefully been very methodical" in their search.
Of course, if worse comes to worse, Rob Chudzinski's always available.Comment

So who is going to take this job now? Not even the retread options like Chan Gailey are likely to take this job at this point. They might have to eat crow and bring back Chud, but if I was him I wouldn't go back. Heck, not even the coaches who were fired a few weeks ago aren't even looking at this job.Comment
