Wes Welker Possibly Retiring After Super Bowl?

Wes Welker brushed off whispers that he could retire following Sunday's Super Bowl.

Welker is just 33 years old, has the potential to earn $6 million in 2014 and continues to be one of the game's best slot receivers. The whispers stem from his recent bout with two concussions. "I think so. We'll see what happens," Welker said when asked if he'll be back next season. "I've definitely been blessed with 10 more years than I ever thought I would play in the NFL. I'll just keep on playing until they tell me I can't anymore."

You guys think if the Broncos win that he should end his career or keep going?

Please retire Wes... We might have a shot at retaining Decker.

He is a good guy to have though on those short 3rd down plays, almost always makes the grab if it's thrown to him lol but i can see what you mean!

Welker actually reiterated today that he has no plans in retiring. He said, "Of course it will be a good way to end it, but i am still having fun, I am still enjoying the game. I feel good, and as long as i am out there having fun, i will continue to play"

Glad to see this is a slow SB for news. It means no bs is going on, but really, can't we write the same exact story for every player in the game over 30?
