    Hypothetical: Division Realignment

    Saw this on reddit. Would you be for or against this if the NFL for any reason were to realign.

    I personally have nothing against this...i'm sure Redskin and Cowboys fans would lose their fucking minds though.

      I'd be all for it.

      Most of these teams in these hypothetical divisions now, play in some regard during the pre-season due to proximity.

                  Jets and Giants in the same division ? Cowboys and Indians not ?

                  What we need is an 18 game season , 4 more playoff teams and 2 new teams 1 in Mexico the other in London , not to mention Tuesday Night Tackle on TNT for another great night of televised football. That is what the fans want.
                  Best reason to have a license.

                      why the hell did the creator flip the conferences? the AFC west should be the NFC west still.

                      but tradition gets in the way anyway...nfc east and south ideas suck

                                          Originally, the NFL set it up so that people would stay interested from all areas. Seeing as football is so big with national tv deals and everything, this would be a cool change.

                                                          Would be interesting. The Ravens/Redskins rivalry would definitely go to the next level, as right now only Ravens fans really care about the Redskins as far as rivalry goes. Would hate to not play the Cowboys each year, but if a game could be thrown in to still support older rivalries from outside the division- Dallas/Washington, Baltimore/Pittsburgh, etc- then I would definitely be in favor of it.

                                                          That being said, I don't see anything changing any time soon, unless a team is relocated to London. Who knows what is going to happen with that.
