Buccaneers helmet/logo/uniform change coming Thursday

helmet for sure...not sure about uniform though. Rumor about chrome facemask but that would be stupid. Chrome is too glitzy, a pirate is gritty and dirty.

I loved the creamsicles, I loved the wannabe Florida State colors, interesting that they are changing jerseys again when they have zero fans and no one would rush out and buy the new ones.

LOL at "wannabe Florida State" ... don't think anybody else has ever made that association with the red and pewter set, which looks nothing like FSU's garnet and gold.

both are red based, its not that big a stretch really. They are 4 hours apart and in the same state. Designers always look for something that influences and creates similarities with other sports teams to gain fan following and relate to a history of sports teams in State. I'm sure they looked at silver and gold and thought"what can we do similar to that that's not a typical base color". They ended up going more towards FSU then having Miami as an influence from their first time around.
