    Tackles don't mean he's a top flight linebacker.. there are other factors as to way he had the amount of tackles he did.. namely a sputtering offense that would constantly put the defense back on the field giving Jackson more opportunities to get tackles. I think the Colts paid too much but that's what happens when the FA class is weak at a position of need.
    I remember reading a Lindy's in my youth and a seeing that Roland McKinnon was the league leader in tackles by a wide margin the previous year. This led my young mind to wonder why he wasn't considered one of the best LBs in the league..

    I came to find out it was easier to make tackles when teams were running on you for entire second halves of games because your team was getting destroyed.

      Good leader, definitely an upgrade over what the Colts trotted out there last year. At this point, I think he's a stop-gap option for two years or so.
