    when i think of this guy i think of him as a bad owner. one who made millions and millions off of a team he didnt care to make into a winner. got himself a plush new stadium to make more money and didnt do a thing to give back to that poor ass city. imo, this guy ranks right up there with modell, the baltimore irsay, the bidwells and all the other greedy bastards who we tend to praise simply because they are fortunate enough to own a team.

      The end of an era in Detroit. Not sure that that is a bad thing for the Lions. They desperately need someone more focused on doing the right things for their team and not just lining their own pockets.

        Arguably the least successful owner in NFL history. Took over in 1964 and won only 1 playoff game in the 50 years since.
