Agree as well. IMO, Josh Gordon smoking weed should not be an issue.

Wait a second, is this referring to the homosexuality chat that was going on in here? The one you participated in? I'm lost, half the posts are gone.

Yes, they were off topic including mine and I posted twice to stay on topic. We certainly don't need smart ass replies afterwards either which are what caused the rest off the posts to be deleted.

Potheads don't beat their wives, they take their Cheetos.

Really, a year suspension for pot? Dan Wilkinson punches his pregnant wife in the stomach, and Josh Gordon is a year-long suspension for pot???
Let me preface this by saying I fully endorse legalizing marijuana for recreational use.

However, if a private company wants to tell its employees not to use illegal drugs and then informs them of random drug testing for those illegal drugs, it is perfectly fine in my opinion. It is Josh Gordon's responsibility to follow the rules of the company, no matter how stupid he or others may think they are. If he wants to go and play football for a different league or go into a different line of work without drug testing, he is more than welcome to. But if he plays in the NFL, he has to go by their rules.

This was a dumb move on his part, plain and simple.

I get that and I agree Gordon is a moron ... I just think marijuana is no more dangerous than alcohol, and if the NFL is ok with its players boozing it up, they should do the same with marijuana. A lot of players say they take it because of the pain relief ... while I am not a football player and can't relate, there's some merit to taking marijuana for medical reasons.

Im the biggest browns fan here. beleive me it sucks so bad to see gordon be a damn moron. But we shall be fine as a team. ! player even if he was on the verage of being a superstar will not make or break our season. Plenty of teams have won games with far less talent at the Wr position. Realistically Seahawks won all games with undrafted Free agent wrs and HArvin last year who barely played all season. (not saying we are as good as seatle). Just trying to say not the end of the browns season.

It's unclear if the Browns have actually reached out to either, but they're two of the better free agent receivers available. Holmes knows coach Mike Pettine from their days together in New York. He flashed signs of the old Santonio at times last season but may not be worth the distraction. Austin has next to nothing left and can't stay on the field. Gordon's expected ban is 8-16 games.

Miles Austin is injury prone, but I think could still be an effective #2 receiver. With Gordon likely out, adding Austin at this stage of the off-season isn't a bad move. I actually think Bryant and Witten really limited Austin, and going into an offense where he will be one of the top options again is going to be a benefit to you guys.

We still need receivers.... someone call T.O., Moss, and Jerry Rice

Just saw Cleveland added Earl Bennett as well. Can't say I would be excited about that one.

Miles couldn't stay healthy. Then, when he saw the field, he didn't really show up. He ended the season as the 4th wr in the depth chart. He held himself back and got beaten out by Williams and colesanity.

Josh Gordon grabbed another speeding ticket over the holiday weekend and his passenger was cited for possession of marijuana.... Wonderful.
