2 of the 3 guys commenting on this workout right now have opinions that shouldn't be taken very seriously.

Browns seem to love him and didn't need to see him 1st hand. I would guess, if he's available, they will pick him. They said they have seen enough and know what he can do/can't do, so they didn't need to waste their time. I think people are trying to read too much into it because they weren't represented.

edit: They didn't attend Bridgewater or Bortles PD? pfft. They are trying not to tip their hat, as if nobody thinks they need a QB.

this is another reason why they suck probably...no matter what you know or think you know, do the fricken work and evaluate in a hardcore up close fashion and make good picks. Saying you've seen all you need to and not participating in an up close evaluation makes me question your professional ability.

they said Sam Bradford had a great work out too before the draft and no ones still sure if he's that good yet

Everybody knows Manziel looks good when the play breaks down...what they didn't know, is how he looks in shorts going through a typical QB script. Doesn't matter a whole ton, but its a necessary piece of the evaluation process. Looks like he passed the test with flying colors.

As long as he doesn't end up with the Vikings or Packers. Anywhere else, I'll root for him as long as he's not playing the Bears. If he goes to Minn/GB, I'll have to root for every team he plays against.

Nah they have said they will work them out individually. Pro days are useless to evaluate QB's, use game film and unscripted drills during private workouts.

the point is that 30 other teams were there. are the browns so smart that they know something those other teams dont? you cant send 1 person there to rep your team. The browns are a joke and need to make sure they are doing everything to look good in the public eye.

I'm not saying they are smart Lol but it certainly seems that they have something up their sleeve. I'm going to assume they are looking to trade back again and go after someone like Mike Evans. You never know they may be looking to move up from 26 and make sure they get a top QB AND either Watkins or Evans.

They never make any sense either way.

I don't think there's any way he gets past the Jags at #3.
