I don't think anyone doubts that Matt Ryan is a better pure quarterback then Michael Vick.

But looking at passing numbers isn't exactly fair to Vick, as we all know that passing the ball wasn't his strong suite, nor was it expected to be, as he was expected to just make plays, which is exactly what he did.

For the second time, why the disclaimer 'pure' QB? Why not just say Matt Ryan is a better QB than Vick. Period.

Vick wasn't a great player. He was an exciting player. People thought the entire Atlanta franchise would collapse without Vick ("he sold so many tickets for the Falcons...he was the face of the franchise...the Falcons will be nothing without Vick"), yet only TWO YEARS after Vick almost single-handedly ruined the franchise the Falcons are BETTER.

I'm never going to hate on a player unless he's Tom Brady, and I'm physically incapable of having any type of love towards Tom Brady, because I'm a Colts fan. but when you watch Atlanta play, you see the real season they are so successful is because of they're superb ability to effectively run the football, and when that was shut down in the playoff game in Arizona, despite Ryan throwing 2 TD passes, they still couldn't win the game.

It is, let me put this is caps so you can see what I'm saying, OBVIOUS that he had a great impact in the team's success this year. Which supports what I said previously, that the coaching change made a huge difference. You just have some type of hatred against Vick for some reason it seems lol, did he kill your dog or something?
