    Pryor traded to Seattle

It appears unlikely that Oakland will be able to move Pryor and will instead release him, so what team should be the one to take a chance on Pryor and sign him to the team?

EDIT: Looks like that answer came sooner than I thought.

The Radiers have traded quarterback Terrelle Pryor to the Seahawks, according to ProFootballTalk.com. The team reportedly would have released Pryor, a supplemental third-round pick in 2011, if they didn't find a trade partner.

No details on what the Raiders received in the deal, though CBSSports.com's Pete Prisco takes a guess:

Meanwhile, the Raiders traded a late-round pick to the Texans last month for Matt Schaub, presumably because they didn't think a capable starting quarterback was currently on the roster.

Seems perfectly reasonable given that neither Pryor nor Matt McGloin distinguished themselves last season. The former ranked 44th in Football Outsiders' QB metric (ahead of only Brandon Weeden), and the latter was 29th.

(Yes, we know, Schaub was terrible in 2013, but he was still better than Pryor, ranking 35th. But Schaub has played well in the past; he was 12th in 2012 and 10th in 2011, the two years the Texans won the AFC South.)

Raiders coach Dennis Allen wasted little time naming Schaub his starter, and a short time later, Pryor reportedly asked to be traded. And now, a day before Oakland begins its offseason program, Pryor gets his wish.

In three NFL seasons, Pryor started 10 games, completed 56 percent of his passes for 1,953 yards, 9 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He also rushed for 627 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Cost was only a seventh round draft pick, not bad for Seattle

Worth the risk I suppose. Better than drafting a bum like Connor Shaw in the 7th

The way Schneider operates during the draft too, it's almost a mortal lock that at some point he will trade back and recoup picks. Which considering how many gems they've uncovered in Rounds 3-7, is a good thing

So you don't want to compete against Schaub...here you go.

This is great for both sides the Raiders were going to cut Pryor anyways and the Seahawks have a guy who could have some potential hopefully Carol gets something out of him, but LOL at Pryor wanting to leave cause Schaub was here now he has to compete with Russell Wilson.

Pryor will never see a game again. i'm sad to see another buckeye QB ride off into the sunset. He had a few good games last year too.

Basically you traded a 5th and Pryor for Matt Flynn and a 7th
