    Grade your team's 2014 draft

Post grades and thoughts for your team here. Here's mine for the Redskins.

The OG we picked could step in right away, Spencer Long. Should provide a physical mauler that we need. Moses was going to us in some mocks in the 2nd, so that could be construed as a value pick, but I don't like it. I agree with the thoughts mentioned already. Breeland ran a bad 40, but he doesn't have top end speed and he's probably suited best in the slot if you can't give him safety help deep.

Murphy was a huge risk to take that high, but that's the need they wanted to fill despite having both Orakpo, Kerrigan and Jackson back. Murphy is a high motor guy though, and it seems Allen and Haslett really like that kind of player, so we will have to see.

I wanted to see Marquis Lee and Louis Nix. I know they didn't fill needs, but to get first round talents that fell that far after giving up our previous first rounders to get RGIII, we could have used that infusion of talent.

Overall, I would grade the draft between C+ and B-, but it does have some potential unlike some previous drafts we had a decade ago.

              Philadelphia Eagles: B-

Not crazy about the 1st round round pick, but don't pretend to be an expert either. Not too long ago, the Patriots drafted a guy rated as a 3rd or 4th rounder (Logan Mankins) who turned out ok.

I just have to hope the Eagles got their 1st round pick right.

I'll never completely understand why we ditched DeSean Jackson for nothing and to a division rival, so I can understand why we spent picks on WRs early here.

At the end of the day, like Bart Simpson I choose to believe Krusty is coming to Kamp ... or believe in Chip Kelly.

                B +

I love the Anthony Barr and Bridgewater picks. They fill in immediately. I hope TB just impresses the coaches and he wins out the competition. Barr is a freak and I can't wait to see what Coach Zimmer has in store for him. We go to picking up a DE with our first 3rd Rounder which I was kind of upset with. We have two solid DE's (E. Griffen / B. Robison) already. I'm assuming this guy was high on their boards and couldn't let him go and create some depth. I was hoping we pick up a WR or DB with this pick. Our second 3rd we pick a scat back Jerick McKinnon. Kind of an interesting pick. Dude even played QB in wildcat style offense. I'm intrigued to see what Norv Turner wants to do with him. Our late round picks we pick up some CB's. One of them, Antone Exum is getting a lot of praise. Could be a gem for us.

I give the Jaguars a B for Balls...they had conviction and didn't fuck around and went and got their guys. Stayed put and took Blake Bortles. Jumped back into the second round to get Allen Robinson. Jumped back into the third round to get Brandon Linder. If nothing, they knew exactly who they wanted and went out there and got it. Can't hate on that. I just hope their evaluations were on the money.

                    B+

Took a bit of a reach with our first pick but it shored up the Right Tackle which we had to get and he should be much better then Clabo was last year. Loved the Landry Pick, I've watched a lot of LSU games the past few years since my Dad is a Tigers fan and I Actually liked Landry better then Odell Beckham coming into the draft. Sure Handed, Reliable and is a tough guy to bring down. I also liked the Billy Turner pick, plug and play guy at Guard and is also could be move to Tackle if Albert gets hurt. Don't know much about the later around guys but from what I've read they we're good depth picks. Our biggest need was very clear, we needed Offensive Linemen and we got 2 of them that should start from day 1 and One of My Favorite Receivers coming into the draft. Overall I'm pretty happy with the draft the Dolphins had.

They added a guy who has potential to be an elite pass rusher to add to the other pass rushers they added this off-season. Also pleased with the addition of Derek Carr so we have a guy to groom going forward. They hit needs with all their picks and added some intriguing prospects. Especially Keith McGill. Damn near almost 6'4" with a 39 inch vertical. If he can keep his head on straight I feel he could be a real steal.

I give the Browns a C+ overall. The draft for them really was a solid B but then the Josh Gordon incident came to light. We were already light in proven outside receivers so their lack of addressing the WR position dropped them.

                            Redskins C-

Murphy was a reach in the 2nd round
Gabe Jackson was still on the board but they took Long
I question whether or not Moses can play RT. He struggled at UVA and some have projected him to a guard.
Did nothing to address the defensive line, particularly the NT.
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"

                              Skins C-/D+

Our #1 pick doesn't fill a need for this year.
Both offensive linemen we picked up have huge question marks
Drafted a WR after spending so much money on the position in FA
Drafted a RB when we already have 5 on the roster
Drafted a TE who, from what I've read, can't block for shit and drops the ball a lot.
Drafted a fucking kicker. A fucking kicker.

Did nothing to address ILB, DLine or Safety on a team who's defense rivaled the worst of all time last year.
