Is abstinence only "sex ed" a common practice around your area?

Must be that you guys just got this new sex trend that's been sweeping the globe. It's like Beatle mania! Wonder why it took so long to reach Wisconsin.

It has been declining over the past 20 years.

But it's still much higher than other countries.

Does the U.S. have a higher teen pregnancy rate than other countries?
Yes, by a long shot. Although rates here are de
clining, the U.S. has the highest rates of
teen pregnancy, birth, and abortion in the i
ndustrialized world. In fact, the U.S. teen
        pregnancy and birth rates are
        nearly double Canada's, at leas
t four times those of France
and Germany, and more than eight times that of Japan.5

Yet other countries have more mainstream sexuality than us.

Unfortunately this does not mean that the media's influence has lessened on teens and they are having sex less. Our culture is still being degraded by overtly liberal programming. Increased use of birth control is what is lowering the teenage birth rate.

Here is a graph showing the use of birth control over the last twenty years. As you can see people, for the most part (it looks like one group is having some issues;) ), are using effective means of birth control at a higher frequency.

Who changed your username? And I was wrong about the increase in HS pregnancy. And I'm really surprised with how may I've been seeing. I wish goobs chart was 15-18 but I would still think it's a good indicator of HS pregnancies.

I don't see what the difference is between 15-18 and 15-19. Nineteen year olds are still teenagers. And to quote a blog I like to read, "if you ask me people who are 19 are still kids. They aint adults."

I remember my first experience with gays on tv. It was Pedro from the first season of Real World. He later died of "those AIDS". At the time this was the expected outcome for homosexuality.

I was watching the draft when Sam kissed his lady boy. My son who is 5 years old saw it, and I didn't know what to do. I did nothing and he laughed and said "eww", but he says this when heterosexuals kiss as well.

Ironically, another member of the Real World cast, Sean Duffy, who was portrayed as the conservative cast member and was disgusted by gay culture; is now a United States Congressman, representing a district in northern Wisconsin.

I do not agree with the quote I posted, just thought it was worthy of consideration since I know for a fact some people on VSN agree with it. When discussing sensitive issues such as this, it is important to consider both sides of the story.

You're right. I remember all those kids in middle school starting to experiment after hearing some of Elton John's music.
I didn't know him and Freddy Mercury were gay till years later LOL

damn man, what a thread LOL.

and to think I only started it to make fun of Buckeye because Don Jones is wearing an 'I'm a game changer' t shirt
