I too thought the kiss looked horrible. It looked forced and lacked passion. That just smashed their lips together and bear hugged each other. It was such a shitty kiss that I think both of them may actually be straight and are just using all of this for publicity.

They needed to make sure people knew that. He isn't missing any time with this "suspension", it's pure PR work so people see that the Dolphins do not agree with him.

Can send the same message to the public using other methods. If the league and teams stance is pro gay rights, they should already be sending this message out to the public. No need to oppress other peoples opinions to do this.

Plus he said it about a fellow employee, which is just uncalled for in the corporate world. I have seen people get fired for saying less about fellow employees.

Yes. And I would hope ethics would win out in any case of suppressing hatred and ignorance. Its like you view the tolerance of gays as being "unethical", because it "suppresses" the "argument/opinion" of those who are intolerant of gays. As if the world would be worse if intolerant opinions were suppressed.

It's in the context of what "horrible" meant. He didn't just tweet out horrible and get in trouble for that. It obviously means that he thought the Michael Sam situation was horrible, which is against the beliefs of his employer.

No, but the point you are missing is that these tweets took place on a forum where Jones was representing his company.

It was on twitter, just like the Jones incident, which is why I brought it up. At least I'll applaud your consistency.

A social media policy is for social media platforms, such as Twitter. His background has the Dolphins logo, and his description openly said he is a Dolphins player. That means he is representing the team at that particular time.

Horrible is not tame in the context of things.
