Wow who would have thought that people of different age groups would have different opinions on the gay agenda, and both be intolerant of the other sides views.

I'm actually tolerant of the other sides views.

This is such a random statement to make. If that is your only point, why are you still in the discussion? You trying to make it sound vague isn't working. It sounds like you're saying: As homosexuality becomes more mainstream, more kids are going to be gay.

No, I said kids are more likely to experiment. I didn't say anything about being gay. Also, that kids will probably be more tolerant. Youk, Nahste and Warner wrongfully equated that to "going to be gay". I was just commenting on the "kids being influenced by mainstream media" part of rams post.

I noticed one of my posts had "extreme" when I was trying to type mainstream. I think spell check f'd it up.

It would have stayed that fairly random statement if the others didn't make that wrong leap to "going to be gay".

Thinking someone's statement is dumb as fuck, or rooted in dubious logic, does not equal intolerance.

I'd say modern psychology doesn't support even the idea that they would be more likely to experiment. Human sexuality isn't the same as hobbies. Kids are going to try and bang whatever they feel the urge to bang. It's not like "hey, extreme sports are huge, I'm going to see what all of this talk about skateboarding is all about!".

By your logic, the only reason anyone would ever kiss, grope, or bone, is because they saw it on TV or something. EDIT - must have accidentally deleted this but, meant to say here: Gay or straight, kids for centuries have been experimenting with each other, and it isn't because they saw it in a play in the Roman Forum or read about it in the local paper.

I think the only likely correct answer is what you said: that kids will probably be more tolerant.

I wonder what you could be insinuating in the Michael Sam thread.

The only reason? Where do you get this from?

If kids see a lot of kissing and groping around them, they are more likely to try kissing and groping at a younger age then kids who don't see much of it.
