It's hard to replace Lee at this point, because you aren't just replacing a body on defense, but also your leader. With Ware gone, it's another LB they need to replace if the ACL tear is true. I think Jon Vilma is still available, and that might be the best replacement right now.Comment

It sucks, but the season ending Sean Lee injury should pretty much be written in pen when the Cowboys are preparing their roster at this point.
Dallas may give up 200 points to the Eagles this year.

Lee'a knee gave out before contact with Martin.
This is a bad injury for the team but not something we haven't had to deal with the passed 2 or 3 yearsComment

Lee has missed 15 games over the last two seasons and he just signed his $42MM extension last season. I like Lee and you can't control injuries, but, this is what I was most worried about with his extension. I know it's easy to say it now, but, it was a concern of mine.
Either way, we got 16 games till Gruden.Maddon & Friedman: Pissing off the AL East since 2008

I love this guy when hes on the field, but its clear to me its time to move on him from if im the Cowboys. Either that or invest in some really good back-ups behind him. Every season this happens and every season the defense takes a huge step back because of it.Comment

We'll at least this season they know they have to fill that void day one, not like they didn't already have to expect lee to be hurt most of the year anyway. He's one of the most injury prone players I've seen in a long time.Comment
