There's really never an excuse for someone to act like an uncivil asshole, their anger should be directed at their employer anyway. Restaurants already have ridiculous markups, especially on pop and alcohol which is marked up 200-300%. They can afford to pay their servers a decent wage, especially franchise restaurants, but they won't because they don't have to.

Why do servers need $18/hr? Why are you raising everyone else's wage?

I'm sure it happens in some places. I haven't seen it but you hear stories about it all the time.

Fact of the matter is that we weren't there. However, I highly doubt she kept calling them "boys" in the way Sapp is referring to it.

Second, Sapp is an awful person. He plays this big, loveable guy on national TV, but, local guys couldn't stand him and he was an ogre off the field.

Third, not tipping isn't new with Sapp. I know some restaurant owners and managers who aren't shocked by this. Their staff used to argue over who had to provide him service...not because they wanted a big tip, but, because he was such an ass and no one wanted to deal with him.

So, while I wasn't there. Sapp has enough of a history in the local area that I tend to take the servers side on this.

How about, instead of giving made up dessert or drinks, when you realize that you're giving shitty service you just apologize and give better service? You expect me to believe that you were a crap waiter all night and then at the end decided "Man, I really sucked. I'll order them some drinks to make up for it!"?

This also makes me believe that you've never worked at a restaurant.
I still think that this is relevant to the topic at hand, and I am hoping buckeyes will respond with something that consists of more than 2 or 3 sentences.

With the number of active posters your "top notch service" ran off...Thomas, Bill, and the few others still hanging around deserve an open bar on you.

I wouldn't doubt it. We are talking about Florida...

Sapp is guilty here for the love of god. Literally YEARS of people calling into 98 rock with horror stories about this guy coming into their restaurant and going out of his way to be an asshole. I'm not talking about people eating at a place and bugging Sapp for shit, I'm talking about owners or waiters/waitresses. Guy was an amazing football player and he will be loved down here no matter what, but we are also aware of what he was like off the field.

Could this be the same Warren Sapp who called Brandon Marshall a retard on national radio show because of Brandons mental health condition? The same Sapp who then wanted to fight Brandon when Brandon responded about Sapps bankruptcy and divorce?........

I'll side with the waitress here.

So I assume you're buying VSN a round of server costs and url payments for your shitty service thus far ?
