Lol oh lord this guy is desperate for female audiences. How will they handle a situation like say Michael Sam hitting his BOYfriend ? What about a random fight amongst brothers ? Or a fight at a club ?Is just the cops showing up enough or do charges have to be pressed ?
You could have played it by ear before or something a bit more realistic , but "lifetime" has a certain expectation and there may be guys who will have a career ruined or be victims of blackmail from crazy broads crying wolf.Best reason to have a license.

Blanket punishment for any crime is never a good policy. There are always extenuating circumstances that makes a particular action either more heinous or understandable. Domestic violence particularly is a "he said/she said" accusation that is almost never acted out in front of neutral eyes.
This is what's wrong with the NFL's conduct policy. The act is not what matters, it is the public reaction. Punishment dictated by a mob mentality is not justice.Comment

I think this new policy is more about having something that gives the appearance of an iron fist stance on the topic of domestic violence in advance of the league's desire to sell pink jerseys (and give only 5% of the profit to charity) next month than actually caring about the prevention of domestic violence in the league.Comment

I'm part of a support group now for people dealing w/loved ones who have personality disorders. You should see some of the stories of husbands dealing w/violent spouses & the lack of concern from the authorities, family, neighbors & friends. We've got to stop thinking of domestic violence as only male attacking female.Comment
