          Deadspin has some reports that this was of the non Molly variants of speed. That just doesn't sound like something that Welker would risk but you never know with these guys.

                  The guy got popped after the Kent Derby where he was passing out $100 bills. It fits.

                  I'm not surprised by anything these guys do. Like Robin Williams said, "Cocaine is god's way of telling you you make too much money." These guys are capable of doing anything cause money ain't no object.

                      I read somewhere that had the NFLPA and the NFL been able to reach an agreement on HGH this past offseason, Welker would have been much better off because the new language has MDMA/amphetamines scheduled to be moved to the substance abuse program rather than the more severe PED punishments.

                          Amphetamines are more prevalent in MLB, where the 162 game grind gets to some players and they take it to keep going. I can't think of a practical use for Welker at this point, especially recovering from a concussion- though it's entirely possible that the positive test happened well before that.

                                  Molly is short for molecule which used to be another nickname for MDMA.

                                  Molly is very rarely ever pure MDMA and often cut with amphetamines. Same with coke, but the nfl tests for coke and does not test for MDMA.

                                  Either way, don't be fooled, Wes likes to party.
