    Maryland's "Star Spangled Banner" uniforms

These Under Armour jerseys will be worn when Maryland plays West Virginia, and will honor the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Baltimore where the Star Spangled Banner was written. The logo on the helmet is an outline of Fort McHenry, and the words are even written on the shoes.

Under Armour once again does a fantastic job.

Fuck... between this and the Navy ones Ive been monumentally impressed. Its like the military and war bring out the best in uniform designers.

I think they went overboard writing the anthem on the uni's. Other than that, nice design.

It's to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the attack on Fort McHenry, when the Star Spangled Banner was written. That's why it's done that way

Because celebrating the anniversary of the attack on Fort McHenry is an annual, national event.

For the city and state it happened in, it's been a pretty big deal.
