Would have been nice of the NFL to announce this a little more ahead of time, so I could plan my night around it. I missed most of the show, because I didn't know it was going on.

They've scheduled Indianapolis on the road again for a Thursday night game.

I don't get how one team consistently has to have this game on the road, every year. I think Indianapolis has won every one (9), but the only one they actually had at home was against Houston when Manning was sitting the season out because of his neck.

It's probably nice for all of these AFC south teams to know that they will always get Indy at home on that short week.

The Ravens have a terrible schedule. Absolutely brutal.

                Must we all suffer?

As a Panther fan, nice to go from the tough AFC North to the AFC South. The division winner might actually hit .500. 1st 11 weeks have 6 home games & a bye week. So a good start, 7-3, is possible. The bye comes before the long coast to coast trip to Seattle. So that's timely. Not too mention it preceeds a stretch of 4 straight vs 10 wins or more teams.

Colts fans shouldn't complain. They play only 3 teams who made the playoffs & won more than half of their games. Two of those are in Indy. They won't see a legit QB until the Pats on Oct 18th. If they go any worse than 12-4 w/o major injuries, they should fire the coaching staff. A 1st round bye should be a breeze.

I agree about the Ravens schedule. Raiders is the easiest game & even that is on the road. Browns twice is usually a blessing but they hate B'more. After that, every opponent was over .500 last year.

Why are the Cowboys & Washington not playing until after Thanx?

Jets "at" Giants should be interesting.

Great for the media. They can write a bunch of hype stories. For people who have to stay up late & watch, Rex's offense is insomnia proof. The game will be a 12-9 snorefest or a 38-10 Pat blowout.
