    Everett Golson --> FSU

    A day late in posting this, but Everett Golson announces his transfer to FSU. Between Notre Dame blocking scheduled teams, SEC limitations on transfers, and Jimbo's pedigree with quarterbacks, FSU was easily the best fit. If he can pick up the offense in two and a half months (which I doubt), he'll be a huge get for the Noles.

    All I can say is, if they thought Jameis was a turnover machine.............................

      all about the O-Line...Everett only threw like 6 picks in 2012. As long as he doesn't fumble, he's fine

        Still think Braxton Miller was a better fit for them.

            He probably would have with the right incentive.

              playing time isn't enough of an incentive to transfer?

                Negative.

                My thoughts on Golson are still wavering. Who ever wins the competition, I will be alright with it.

                  I don't have a doubt in my mind that Golson can take us farther than Maguire. I don't think Golson can pick up a whole pro-style offense in 2 and a half months, so I can see Maguire winning the job. But the offensive line is really the only question mark. Roderick Johnson is really the only one of the starters that proved himself last year. Hoefeld was pretty sub-par when Barron was injured last season and no one else even played. So if the offense struggles, that's going to be why

                    I don't believe his learning curve is so steep, he comes from a fairly pro style offense and has shown to stay cool and collected under tough coaching. Your point about OL is the definitely more concerning, them gelling will be more telling than who will be playing QB. Who ever is at QB will have plenty of weapons and not to mention that dude Cook and Company, mostly Cook will play determine after those costly fumbles.

                    As long as SMAG pushes and could take the job, the offense will be better of. This is a situation in which I use, "In Jimbo I trust"
