A couple observations thus far:

*Gimme win over bad MAC school notwithstanding, I think Michigan's 2018 offense under Harbaugh is going to be the same as the 2017 offense...good against bad teams, anemic against good teams. For all the talk of Harbaugh recruiting from the Southeast and improving team speed and skill, Michigan's offensive players look terrible. Where are all these big recruits? Michigan could at least run the ball under Brady Hoke...they've regressed under Harbaugh.

*Speaking of overrated gurus, what the heck is going on at UCLA with Chip Kelly? Their offense has looked terrible thus far.

*Its flown under the radar because nobody cares, but Arizona got destroyed by Houston. Yeah, Arizona's defense was always suspect under Rich Rod, and he had difficulty simply winning games at Arizona, but at least Rich Rod (eventually) figured out how to have Khalil Tate run for 200 yards per game. Whatever Heisman hopes Tate had for 2018 have already vanished...not sure what is going on down in Tucson, but its not good.

Notre Dame seems destined for the Citrus Bowl again this year. Wimbush is bad. The defense is for real though.
