Give Macho Harris another year to develop. He's entering his 2nd year with a ton of upside and experience. I still believe Macho can become a pretty good S if he develops well.

Witherspoon was coming off a bad 2008 season and had injury issues. It wasn't like they traded him when he was at the top of his game.

Witherspoon was solid, but nothing spectacular in the time he's played here so far.

You do realize that Witherspoon played the entire season with out a break..

Eagles traded for him after their bye and before the rams bye. So he played a full season + playoff games with out that weeks rest that the other players got.

I think he played pretty damn well considering he didnt have a break. They should have kept him a MIke, Jordan at WILL and gocong at SAM even when Jordan got hurt, i am sure White could have played fine.

You're making it sound like I said the guy was a disappointment. I think he played well, but nothing at the level he was at 3-4 years ago.

I hope the Eagles decide to go after Peppers. Hefty price tag, but pairing him with Trent Cole on that defensive line would be unstoppable.

I would love to get Otogwe and I am mad that we left all those defensive linemen sign elsewhere. I heard we are looking at Mike Bell, I think he would fit great in our backfield.

Since it's clear the Eagles are doing absolutely nothing to improve their horrible defense, I say we might as well trade McNabb. We aren't going anywhere with this shit defense anyway, and there's no way they were signing McNabb after this season. Might as well get something for McNabb now instead of letting him walk for nothing after 2010 when the Eagles go 10-6 and get bounced in the playoffs yet again.

Does anyone think we're going after a defensive guy in the draft? I heard a rumor (So please, dont quote me on this one, i could be wrong) that they were going after Taylor Mays...his showing at the combine made it impossible most likely, but do you think they might be going the draft route and picking up a LB, CB, & FS in the draft?

they're def. goin defense and the positioin doesnt really matter to me. but with every sign pointing at marlin jackson coming aboard i doubt they wll, or will even need a safety(if he signs of course). i personally am praying that graham or weatherspoon slides down to #24. anyone else like either of these guys or r they overrated?

2. at this point I'm inclined to say yes

3. leave the secondary alone and concentrate at the LB level

4. with an uncapped year on the horizon that and even cutting Westbrook didnt make much sense to me.

Jamaal tore his ACL towards the end of the season and that almost always takes at least a year to come back from, usually 2 to get back to normal, which is the reason I'm kind of worried about Stewart Bradley next year
