I guess this means I'll see 100 more mock drafts with us taking Moreno now.

I don't think WR is that big a deal for the Birds. Admittedly, we don't have a franchise WR, but the Birds have enough talent at the position ... and opponents can't focus on any one guy.

IMO, the Birds must address RB in round one. Westbrook is 30 this year and injury-prone.

Picking a WR at 21 would just be a luxury pick.

Would I give that 21 up for Boldin? Maybe. He is a damn fine receiver.

As for the trade, it seems fair. I was never a big Peters fan to begin with, there's a reason he was drafted as a tight end. But good luck to him with the rest of his career.
Not really , Peters was refusing to sign with them . Now they get a 1st round pick instead of nothing . They obviously didnt want to lose a pro bowl tackle for a 1st rounder but he was just gonna sit out and leave in FA eventually anyways. (Whenever his contract was up)

Peters wouldnt go to meetings , played sloppy with very little effort last year and basicly wasnt a team player . Bills didnt have a lot of choice apart from giving him a new contract which clearly they didnt think was worth it.

Peters was refusing to sign because Buffalo wasnt going to pay up. The writing was on the wall this guy wasnt going to get paid.

If theres one place in the NFL you cant afford to have a hole in its Tackle. Buffalo now has a glaring hole.
            Big downgrade for them.

like this move for us. with getting rid of both tackles this offseason, we needed to get someone to replace big tra thomas.

now we go for moreno i think with the 21st pick.

Yeah with the trade now the line looks really solid.

                LT - Jason Peters
                LG - Todd Herremans
                C - Jamaal Jackson
                RG - Shawn Andrews
                RT - Stacy Andrews

I think thats more than good enough to start the season with. So now instead of addressing the Tackle position they can go after a TE, HB, FS, but I wouldn't be suprised if they took a DT early in the draft, Andy Reid loves adding depth to the D-Line and all they have right now at DT is Patterson, Bunkley and Laws. Andy always rotates his d-lineman in and out during a series and I think he would love to add depth there.

But none the less, this was a good trade for the Eagles cause now they can focus on other needs earlier.

I really hate life right now

Peters was obviously our best blocker and like many in this thread have said it's going to be tough for the Bills to fill it. Shoulda paid the man his money, Bills really fuck up with their OL, Mike Williams was a huge mistake for one. Before this trade happened the Bills draft was focusing on the DL. Now getting rid of Peters only prolongs the Bills playoff drought. I had my hopes up last year for the Bills but not this year. I just hope Lynch can work with the Bills line next season.

The term lost its meaning when Mike Vick was one of nine QBs to make the 2005 pro bowl.
