I mean I could say If the Cowboys (overall) would've remained healthy during the season they would've won the superbowl...

or maybe if Dallas Front offices didnt have any bitches up there TO would've still been there lol

Don't know how much I like this pick for the Lions. For one I think Sanchez is better now and will be better in the future. Two, they have huge holes throughout the entire team. No quarterback is going to win with their current roster.

Well I can't say that I'm surprised. We all knew they wanted Stafford. I just can't believe we paid him this much money.

I was telling my friends this yesterday. If Stafford wanted to win over Detroit and get the whole city behind him, he would've asked for something like a 5 year 50 million dollar deal with 25 million guaranteed. Then when asked why he didn't keep negotiating, all he had to say was this, "Money is great and all, but I want to win football games, not worry about contract details. Me taking less will also give the Lions an opportunity to potentially sign some more free agents and make our team better."

He says that, and he just won over an entire city. Now he looks like on greedy motherfucker.

Just a quick update for those of you who were saying there is no way Stafford plays this year:

"If he's our best quarterback then he plays." -- Detroit coach Jim Schwartz on Matthew Stafford

                ... we're boned.

well, I dont see him starting off the season. He'll be on the sideline and once we lose that one important game that kills the season completely they'll make the excuse to put him in.

                    The season is already dead.

lmao, naw its not. Really I wish we would've picked up more defensive players. Our offense wasnt extremely terrible, but when you see RB's avg 170 against your defense, it's disheartening to an offense. We've never had a really solid defense and until we get one we'll lose.
