Why is your team(s) your team?

Basically why do you like your favorite team(s)? Is it because of your home town, did your father always watch them, is your favorite player on that team, do you like the style of football that they play? etc.....

I like The Texans because it's my home team, and because of that I can easily watch every one of their games without having to have some NFL TV package. They have alot of potential and should make the playoffs this year.

I started to like the Jaguars 2 seasons ago because of their style of play and the type of team they had.

I don't remember exactly why I started to like the Steelers I just do. I didn't bandwagon them either because I didn't like them back when they won the superbowl against he Seahawks.

As for my teams, it's simple. The city I grew up in, the college I attended. Nothing more.

growing up in Michigan in the 80's the Lions the lions sucked and never could sell out their home games so I never saw them instead every week the Dallas Cowboys were on TV, so there you go :D

I started to like the Chargers because of LT five years ago but after going to the past two Chargers at Bills games at Ralph Wilson I like the entire team.

Grew up in Indiana, been watching The Colts on television and watching my mother scream and bitch ever since the 1994 playoff loss to pittsburgh in the AFC championship game. I was 5 years old.

been watching since the Jim Harghbaugh, Marshall Faulk, and even the fat ass Tony Saragusa days. and there isn't another team in the NFL I give a shit about, didn't ever watch college football until this year.

I love Indianapolis, I love Indiana, its my home, I plan to move back to my home when I get out of school. That's why I love Indianapolis, because I love Indiana, I love everything about Indiana, from the shitty parts of Gary to the rich snobby parts of Carmel, to the flat corn fields in Southern Indy, I love it all. and the colts are just a part of that.
