The Falcons Draft

Jerry and Moore will both start day 1, Chris Owens seems like he could be a legit player for us and Sidbury should get a lot of playing time as well.

But Middleton and Adkins are two picks that seem questionable to me, there was a lot better talent on the board. Dimmitroff likes to draft for special teams in the late rounds and I dont expect our last pick to be anything but a special teams player as well.

Moore was my favorite pick of our draft for a couple reasons, mainly because he can come into the box and be effective against the run and he has the athletic ability to do well in pass coverage and snag some tough interceptions. Not to mention he can become a good leader for the defense.

The fact that we didnt draft any replacements for Boley or Brooking made Moore an even better pick at SS, imo. So it seems like our linebackers this year will be Peterson, Lofton, and Nicholas...

The Falcon's D Line will be a lot better then it was last year. Mike Smith likes to sub in different players in different situations so the group thats on the field is changing a lot, helps keep John Abraham fresh. I really like the depth that Jerry and Sidbury add.
