I saw Nnamdi shut down steve smith last year. I am still amazed.

The stats dont even show how dominant Nnamdi was on smith. You may say delhomme sucked that game, but he sucked because he was locking in on smith and Nnamdi forced him to go else where, or force the ball to smith and get picked.

I think Ike Taylor is the most underrated corner is the league because he has the size speed and can tackle as well as any corner -- very fearless player out there too. I would also recommend you guys keep your eyes on Leodis Mckelvin from the Bills he is gonna be the real deal soon.

Johnson proved he can play man to man, he just needs to get better in zone coverage as he had some screw ups last season. If he can better that part of his game he will be a complete corner and a very good one at that.

Most shutdown corners get burnt because they take risks and jump routes to get picks. And many are overrated because they get a lot of picks. Guys like D Hall a few years ago was way overrated because he made a lot of plays/INTs, then guys learned he refuses to cover double moves to go after ints everytime. That's how I see it anyhow.

Did the author of the rankings just make up the stats? I don't understand the methodology. What is the difference between 'forced incompletion' and 'non-forced incompletion'? How can their be a 'forced incompletion %' but not a 'non-forced incompletion %'? When the author says he factors in things such as 'safety help' and 'hot and cold streaks', what is he talking about?

Just another contrived attempt to do BIll Jamesesque football analysis. Football simply does not lend itself to this type of stuff, no matter how hard this particular author, or the geeks at outsiders, or the prospectus guys, or anyone else tries. It's a game of short 10 second spurts of motion, where the actions of 21 other people can determine whether you are severly overated like the flavor of the week CB on Oakland, or if you are Terrell Buckley.

In other words, "the fuck is this shit?"

I more like the saying than anything . I agree with you in most respects , he was actually talking about Primetime and Champ Bailey if that helps at all

Mainly about how Deion would bait a qb into throwing his way
