i don't speak for every viking fan but honestly i'm not PUMPED for it. however thats not to say i wouldn't be happy if he joined the team. i just think he's still at 40 better than what we have now. and if nothing else it would be funny to see my most hated player of all time suit up for my team and beat my most hated team of all team. one of those "who ever thought this would be happening" moments

I say let the man play. The Vikings have 10 games indoors this season. Give him that fast track and those skill players and the man can still put up big numbers. The only real bad weather game he will likely have to deal with is @ Chicago in late December.

which honestly couldn't be a better one more try season schedule for the old man. the only other game outdoors that has a chance at being cold is GB on Nov 1st.

I'm a Packers fan in Mississippi who wears a Rodgers jersey every now and then to my classes at Favre's old university.

Tend to get a lot of shit for that. He's friends with a lot of people in the community, so pretty much nobody is a Packers fan anymore, except for me and my parents' neighbor who is actually from Green Bay originally.

Favre will be better on the Vikings than on the Jets because he really won't have to do much. The Vikings will run the ball 30 times a game and have Favre throw 15-20 passes and manage the game. Keep him on a leash and he'll play well, like he did in his final season on the Packers.

In other news, John Madden has scheduled a press conference to announce his return as well!!

Of course, realizing if he were completely paralyzed that he would have no feeling in his extremities. unless of course he were only paralyzed from the waist down which would leave his arms free to throat punch the wolves until they left him alone and he were able to crawl out of the woods and resume his NFL career.

I hope he doesn't come back but think about this for a second...if he announces a comeback right now, he would be expected to attend all mini-camps and OTA's in the offseason. Those are things that Favre hates....let's see how he feels about the comeback in June when training camp is getting ready to start and real football is about to be played.

Having a pass defense that was ranked worse than the 0-16 Lions or a run defense that went from ranking 3rd after the Titans win to 9th by the end of the season didn't hurt at all....Favre faded down the stretch but that whole Jets team imploded, it wasn't any one mans fault. They all sucked in December.
